-die too young worrying-

The Club des 27 (or Forever 27 Club) is a term used to refer to a group of famous musicians who all died at the age of 27. The term was first used in the 1970s to describe the deaths of Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin and Jim Morrison, all of whom died aged 27, and since then it has been applied to other musicians who also died at this age.

Some of the most famous members of the 27 Club include Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain, Amy Winehouse and Brian Jones of the Rolling Stones. Although the number of musicians who died at age 27 is relatively small in statistical terms, the notoriety of these artists has given rise to theories and speculation as to why they all met a tragic end at such a young age.

Some people sensitive to the stresses and pressures of being a musician suffered the untimely death of these artists, while others point to drug and alcohol issues. Whatever the cause, the 27 Club is a tragic reminder of the shortness of life and the loss that can be felt when valuable talent is lost too soon.
